Ingredients: 2 cups graham crackers crumbs 1 stick butter melted
1 stick butter softened. 1 box powdered sugar (3 1/2 cups) 2 eggs beaten very well (now a days they would say to use pasturizered eggs however we never died from this recipe, as we are here trying these recipes)
5 bananas 1 20 ounce (2 1/2 cups) can of crushed pineapple drained well 1 12 ounces container of cool whip thawed. Optional Maraschino cherries drained and chopped nuts for topping

Directions:Stir melted butter into graham cracker crumbs and place in a greased 9x13 glass pan and chill.
Mix softened butter, powdered sugar and eggs and mix well, I mean beat way past how much time you probably think it will take. Must be completely emulsified.
Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust.
Split the bananas lengthwise into 3 slices per banana and place over powdered sugar mixture. Next sprinkle over the well drained pineapple. Frost this with the cool whip Top with cherries ( one for each square of serving) and Nuts chopped peanuts or pecans. |
