3 to 3 ½ pound first cut of brisket of beef
1 Tablespoon paprika
6 oz. Madeira wine
garlic salt
1 can condensed tomato soup
2 medium thinly sliced onions
6 oz water

Directions:
Directions:
Season brisket with garlic salt and paprika.
Spread onions in a covered roasting pan, and place brisket on top of onions.
Mix soup, wine and water. Pour over brisket, cover and roast for 2 ½ hours at 325º.
Allow to cool and refrigerate overnight.

To serve:
Slice meat diagonally across the grain, return slices to sauce in roasting pan and heat at 300º for 30 minutes. Serve with sauce over top.
