1/2 CUP BUTTER, SOFTENED

3 OZ CREAM CHEESE, SOFTENED

1 CUP FLOUR


FILLING

1 LARGE EGG
3/4 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR LITE.
1 TBS BUTTER SOFTENED
1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
2/3 CUP FINELY CHOPPED PECANS, DIVIDED.
1 CUP MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS

1. IN SMALL BOWL, BEAT BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE UNTIL SMOOTH, GRADUALLY BEAT IN FLOUR.

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375

SHAPE DOUGH INTO BALLS 1 INCH AND PRESS INTO BOTTOM AND UP THE SIDES. OF A GREASED MINI CUPCAKE PAN

FILLING

IN A SMALL BOWL, MIX EGG, BROWN SUGAR, BUTTER, VANILLA AND SALT UNTIL BLENDED. STIR IN 1/3 CUP OF PECANS START WITH A 1/2 CUP OF THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND MORE AS NEEDED.. SPOON INTO PASTRIES AND SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING PECANS.

BAKE 20- 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL EDGES ARE GOLDEN AND FILLING IS PUFFED. COOL IN PANS 2 MINUTES REMOVE TO WIRE RACK AND COOL.
