Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 slices bread, cut in 1/2 inch cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter in a medium baking dish (I used a glass pie plate). In a microwave oven, cook butter on high for about 25 seconds or until melted. Stir in the seasonings, garlic salt and pepper. Then add the bread. Stir until bread cubes are coated. Microwave uncovered for 3 - 5 minutes; stirring the cubes once every minute until bread is golden and crisp.
Or I like to simply butter the sides of the bread and sprinkle with garlic salt and Italian seasonings and stack on top of each other, then cut into cubes and spread out on plate then microwave 3 minutes, stir, then microwave in one minute intervals until croutons are golden brown and crispy. Be careful when removing from the microwave - use a potholder because plate will be hot!
