3 c. Water

1/3 c. Lipton's Loose Tea


3 c. Water (may need to add 1 1/2 c. more)

3/4 c. Sugar (may need 1/4 c. or more to your taste)


Pyrex 2 Quart Pitcher

Directions:

In a pan put 3 cups water and tea; Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Set off burner and let steep for 5 minutes, covered.

In a 2 Quart Pitcher, add 3 cups water, strain tea into pitcher, may need to add 1 1/2 more cups of water to make 7 or 8 cups of tea. Add 3/4 cups of sugar, stir well, get a spoon and "taste". May need to add 1/4 cup more of sugar to your "taste".

I use a Pyrex 2 Quart Pitcher. This makes good tea every time!

My Mamaw's Sweet Tea is the Best! Anytime I drink sweet tea I always compare it to this tea. I have yet to have any that is as good.
