½ c. sugar
½ c. oil
½ c. water
1 t. vanilla
3½ c. flour
2 beaten eggs
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder

Filling:
Raisin's, chopped nuts and or jam

Directions:
Directions:
Mix wet ingredients and dry by hand and fold in flour. Divide into 5 balls. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface, with a rolling pin. Spread out filling onto each surface and roll into a log shape.
Grease cookie sheet and wax paper. Brush egg on roll and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 275º - 300º for 1 hour.
