2 (8 –ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

½ cup butter (do not substitute margarine)

2 cups sliced almonds

1 1/3 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Unroll crescent rolls and place on foil-or parchment lined 15 x 10x 1 inch baking pan (jelly roll pan).

3. Press dough to edges, sealing perforations.

4. Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat.

5. Cook and stir 4 to 5 minutes or until butter begins to turn a light golden brown. Be careful not to burn the butter.

6. Add sliced almonds and sugar making sure to coat the almonds.

7. Spoon nut and sugar mixture evenly over dough.

8. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-16 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown.

Cool 30 minutes.

Cut into squares.
