Cake: Butter Cream Frosting:
1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup butter melted
2 cups sugar (or 1 cup honey) 3 tbsp. flour
3 cups flour 3/4 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup butter soft
1 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
4 eggs beaten
1 cup nuts (pecans and walnuts)
3 chopped apples
dash of vanilla

Cake:
Mix dries and wets separately, then together, adding nuts and apples last. Bake 90 minutes in tube pan or 35 minutes in 3 layers @ 350'. Frost


Frosting:
Heat melted butter, flour, and milk together until boiling and thick. Cool to room temperature. Add vanilla. Separately, cream soft butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add milk mix beating until spreadable, about 5 minutes. Spread on cooled cake.
