Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is my grandpa's homemade ice cream recipe. My mom's dad, John Hartig. Whenever a bunch of us would gather in Iowa we would make homemade ice cream. My cousins had a hand crank ice cream maker and would take turns turning the crank until the ice cream wash finished. It took so long to make the ice cream and so little time to eat the ice cream but it was so worth it.
