Melt 1/3 cup butter and add 1 1/2 chopped onions
1 can (small) mushrooms - chopped
4 chopped cloves of garlic
1/3 cup parsley
1 tsp each of rosemary, marjoram and oregano

Add 3 small cans tomato sauce and 3 small cans paste and about four cups of water

Brown about 2 pounds ground beef with 1/3 cup olive oil

Add to above mixture.

Bring to boil and simmer 4 or 5 hours

This is another one of my step-dad's recipes. Again, I didn't like him but his sauce was pretty tasty. This recipe makes quite a bit so either you can cut it down or freeze some and use some. Enjoy
