2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup oil
5 tablespoons ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and salt.

Combine oil and ice water; beat with fork until creamy and thickened. Immediately pour all at once over entire surface of flour mixture. Toss and mix with a fork to make a moist dough. Form into a ball; divide into halves. Shape back half into a flat round. Roll lightly between sheets of waxed paper. Pull off top paper, flip dough into pie pan.

Save other half for top crust.

Side note added by Mama: I love to cook the scraps of the pie crust with cinnamon and sugar. Mmmm mmmm.
