1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 tablespoon chopped pimento
2 5 oz cans Albacore white tuna
3 tablespoons flour
3/4 cups milk
8 slices bread
2 large eggs - beaten
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup sliced almonds
2 cups crushed potato chips

Mix undiluted soup, onion, pimento and tuna in sauce pan. Blend flour with 1/4 cup milk and add with rest of milk to soup mixture. Cook, stirring until thick. Chill. Remove crusts from bread. Place four slices in bottom of 9" x 9" x 2" baking dish. Spread with tuna mixture. Top with four slices of bread and refrigerate overnight.

Next day, blend eggs and 3 tablespoons milk. Cut each sandwich in half and dip both sides in egg mixture then in crushed potato chips. Place on greased baking pan. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.

My mom (great-grandma) and I made this when I was young. We were having friends over and I came up with recipe and it turned out so good. I think I will try it again sometime.
