Ingredients:  
• 1 ½ pounds ground beef
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
• 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
• 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, cubed and softened
• 1 teas sugar
• ½ to 1 teas garlic salt
• 7 cups uncooked wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
• 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

1. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain
2. Remove from heat and stir in tomato sauce, sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and garlic salt
3. Place half the noodles in a greased 13 x 9 in baking dish and top with half the beef mixture
4. Repeat layers
5. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until heated through
6. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 3-5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted
