⅓ cup almonds
1 cup dried chow mein noodles
2 tsp sesame seeds
cup vegetable oil
cup sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
tsp salt
tsp pepper
8 cups torn iceberg or romaine lettuce
4 diced green onions
5 cooked and crumbled bacon strips

Directions:

1. Combine almonds, chow mein noodles, sesame seeds in a baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until slightly toasted. Set aside. In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper, shake well. In a large bowl, toss lettuce, onion, and bacon. Just before serving, add almond mixture and dressing, toss.
