1 lb. bulk sausage
9 eggs
3 c. milk
1½ tsp. dry mustard
1½ tsp. salt, or to taste
Dash of pepper
12 slices white bread, crust removed and cubed
1½ c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Optional: chopped green or red pepper, onion, mushrooms or other vegetables

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and drain sausage. Cool.
Beat eggs and milk; add seasonings and bread cubes. Fold in sausage and cheese.
Put in a 9X13 inch pan and refrigerate overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 1 hour before baking.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting.
