12 slices plain white bread, crusts on (Arnold), toasted
4 oz melted butter
6 large eggs
24 oz regular milk
8 oz heavy cream
1 cup sugar
1 cup raisins
1 or 2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Cut toasted bread into 1-inch squares.
3. Place in bottom of 9" x 13" casserole dish and drizzle with melted butter.
4. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over bread.
5. Bake until custard is firm, approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
