1 c. Flour
½ tsp. Baking Powder
⅛ tsp. Soda
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
½ c. Chopped nuts (optional)
⅓ c. Shortening
1 c. Brown sugar
1 Egg (beaten)
½pkg. Chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, soda, salt and nuts first. Then add shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix well. Put into greased 9x9" pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Bake at 350º for 20 to 25 min.
