Directions:Beat egg and add bread crumbs and spices to mix along with onion.
Last add ground beef and mix thoroughly. Form one small meatball and cook as a test meatball to see about flavor.
If satisfied with taste, then make remaining meatballs. It is easiest to place on a cookie sheet lined with tin foil and put meatballs under broiler turning them half way through the cooking process. Do not burn meatballs just cook until firm.
Remove meatballs from cookie sheet and place on paper towels to pat dry of grease.
Meanwhile melt butter in large sauce pan, add cinnamon and tomato sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes and then add meatballs to sauce.
Meatballs can sit in sauce and stored in refrigeration until ready to serve but allow 25 minutes to reheat. If you want to serve immediately then simmer meatballs for about 15 minutes on low heat before serving. |
