Ingredients:  
choose vegetable (Collard Greens, Turnip Greens or Cabbage)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 diced purple onion
3 cloves of minced garlic
3 cups of chicken broth
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1 large smoked turkey leg (fully cooked)
salt and pepper
hot sauce if desired

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot heat oil over medium heat and cook onions until tender. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant. Add chicken broth, red pepper flakes and smoked turkey leg. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Cover and boil lightly for about 20-30 minutes. Remove turkey leg and let cool. Dice meat from turkey bone and add back to pot, simmer 10 minutes. Add Vegetable( Collard greens, Turnip greens or Cabbage)
When they begin to wilt down, cover and simmer for about 60 minutes or until desired texture is reached. Add salt and pepper if desired and serve hot
