Bacon-Wrapped Smokies (aka Meat Candy) Recipe

1 lb sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 14 oz pkg beef cocktail wieners
3/4 c. brown sugar, or to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325

Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap the wieners with cold bacon. Dredge the bacon in brown sugar (or place in zipper bag with wieners and shake) and wrap around a wiener, securing the bacon with a toothpick.

LIne a baking sheet with foil. Sprinkle all generously with brown sugar.

Bake for 40 minutes until the sugar is bubbly.
