1 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup melted butter

4 eggs
4 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp melted butter

1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups coconut
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
2 cups brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Combine 1 cup brown sugar with 2 cups of flour, mix with 1 cup of butter and press into the bottom of 8 x 10 inch greased pan. Bake 10 minutes or until brown at 375. Set aside.

Topping: Beat eggs; add 4 T flour and 1 T melted butter. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Pour over the crust.

Bake for 25 minutes at 325.

When I was about 10 years old, my mother made these for a social at church. I didn't know she made them, but I told her about these "really good cookie things" somebody made. They've always been a favorite of mine, especially at Christmas time.
