Ingredients: 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon basil 1 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1 tablespoon parsley
4-6 chicken breasts (best to have them thin)
1/4 cup dry white wine 2/3 cup melted butter 1/4 cup chopped green onion
For 12 breasts use the following measurements: 1 and 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs, 6 tablesp parmesan cheese, 3 teasp basil and oregano, 1 teasp garlic salt. 2 cups of melted, 3/4 cup chopped green onion and 3/4 cup dry white wine.

Directions:Mix all dry ingredients in bowl, set aside.
Melt butter and divide in half
Wash and dry chicken breasts. Dip each chicken breast into half of the butter, then immediately dip into bread crumb mixture coating each side. Place coated chicken breasts into 9 x 13 pyrex dish.
Bake chicken for about 20 minutes. Then mix what is left of melted butter, wine and green onions into small bowl. Pull chicken out of oven and spoon butter, wine and onion mixture over the chicken. Return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Chicken should be tender, juicy and not overdone. |
