Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Medium size roast of your choice
1 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of Onion powder
Salt and Pepper
Better than Bouillon paste
Water

Potatoes
Carrots
Parsnips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the flour, onion powder, salt and pepper together in a square dish. Coat roast in the flour mixture.

In a large roasting pan add 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil and heat over a medium to high heat setting. Sear the roast that has been coated in the flour until there is a good crust on it.
Add water until it reaches half way up the height of the meat. Add 2 Tablespoons of the bouillon paste to the skillet.

Cover and bake in the oven for 1½ hours. Add the vegetables and bake for another 1½ hours so that all the vegetables are well cooked.

If you need to you can add a little more water, if needed.

Sometimes I also like to add Onion soup (if I have it) for a little extra flavor instead of the Onion powder.

Let sit for 30 minutes before serving.
