Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 eggs yolks
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter
2 1/2 cups flour (all purpose)
1 quart of vegetable oil
1 lb. crushed walnuts
2 lb jar of honey
1 oz of whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Beat first five ingredients well. Add to flour in a mixing bowl. Mix well and when all is blended, turn mixture onto a clean surface and knead until smooth (about 10 minutes). Shape dough into a long roll. Slice down the roll making about 10 medallions. Cover with cloth and set aside

Using a pasta machine, roll out the medallions one at a time cutting them into approximately 1 1/2 inch strips (width).
Layer a pan with Paper towels and place these strips on each layer of paper towel until full of pasta. Pinch each strip in the middle to form bow tie shapes as you go. After all dough is rolled out and layered on paper towels, heat oil and begin frying. Use enough oil to be able to cover the bow knots and to flip them over half way through the frying process till golden brown. When frying it is a good idea to push them a little lower in the oil for even cooking and to flip them half way during the cooking time. Immediately remove each bow knot and place back onto the paper toweling.

When cool, dip them in very warm honey that has been diluted with a little water. Sprinkle each diple with honey but use a colander when pouring the honey to recycle honey as it drips off of each bow knot.

Sprinkle each bow knot with finely crushed walnuts.
