1-lb fresh black mission figs, stemmed and halved lengthwise
2 TB olive oil
6 basil leaves, thinly sliced
2 TB balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly brush the cut sides of the figs with olive oil and grill in a pan or on a grill until lightly browned--2 minutes.

Transfer figs to a bowl and top with basil, balsamic vinegar and 2 TB of olive soil. Season with salt and pepper and then toss to coat. Let stand for 20 minutes.
