2 quarts of milk (8 cups)
2 quarts of water (8 cups)
2 cups of rice (River)
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3-4 cinnamon sticks

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to a boil, then add rice. Cook rice till water is absorbed and fluffy. Then add milk, sugar, vanilla and salt and simmer with cinnamon sticks for another 25 minutes.

Cool. Beat eggs. In 3 tablespoons of milk dissolve cornstarch then add milk mixture to eggs stirring constantly over low heat until thickened for about 2 minutes. Stir this mixture into rice.

Rice pudding can be served warm or cold. Add a little sprinkle of cinnamon to taste when serving.
