1 stick melted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 can Hershey chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract
Chopped almonds to taste

Directions:
Beat all ingredient together in a mixing bowl with a wooden spoon. Pour batter in a 9 X 13 pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray and lined with parchment paper and sprayed again with non stick spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Frosting: 6 tbls. Butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 6 tbls. Milk - boil on stove for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Stir and frost the bars. Chill. Cut into bars.

Can’t go wrong with these bars that feature Hershey chocolate. My grandma couldn’t get ghiradelli but I did and they are delightful.
