1 pound ground beef
4 tsp soy sauce
3/4 tsp chopped ginger root (or ground ginger)
3/4 tsp salt
1 10-oz package frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together in one bowl and have ready to put in won-ton wrappers.

Have small bowl of water beside you and won-ton wrapper in front of you. Place small amount of the meat mixture on top of the wrapper.

Wet finger in the water and wet the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper until it is sealed with meat mixture securely inside. Continue process until all won-tons are made.

Heat enough oil on top of stove for the won-tons to swim in. Cook them until they are golden brown. Remove and place on paper towel to soak up grease.

Serve with dipping sauce.

Personal Notes:
This is a family effort and one that we have so much fun with. It does take time to make the won-tons but the rewards are great. As the won-tons are cooked and cooled they are eaten right away and are paired nicely with the homemade sweet and sour dipping sauce I make.

These recipes I got when I took a Japanese cooking class in college in 1974.
