2 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp shortening
1 c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 450 deg.
In bowl combine flour, b powder, b soda and salt. Add butter and shortening and crumb using pstry knife.
Add buttermilk. and just mix until dough comes together. Don't overmix. Dough will be sticky.

Turn onto floured board and knead 5-6 times. Press into 1" thick and cut with 2" cutter, push cutter straight down without twisting. Put on baking sheet and cook and Bake 15-20 min.
