5 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups Crisco
1 egg
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
ice water
1 tsp sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients. Cut in Crisco. Put the egg in a measuring cup and add the vinegar and enough ice water to reach the 1 cup measure. Pour the liquid over the flour mixture and incorporate with a fork. Then work the dough by hand until mixed. Divide into 4 balls, flatten into discs, and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate or freeze.
