Ingredients:  
One and cups sugar
One-half cup butter
Two eggs, slightly beaten
one and cups flour
teaspoons salt
teaspoon nutmeg
One teaspoon cinnamon
One and teaspoons baking soda
one cup nuts
Four cups peeled, chopped apples

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter.
Add eggs.
Sift together flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and baking soda.
Add to wet ingredients.
Add nuts and apples.
Bake in 8x12 pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
