24 - 32 medium cucumbers, sliced thinly to make four quarts of sliced cukes
One chopped red pepper
one chopped green pepper
Four medium onions, chopped
½ cup pickling salt

Syrup: One quart apple cider vinegar, four and ½ cups sugar, two teaspoon turmeric, two teaspoons grated ginger, two teaspoons mustard seed, two teaspoons celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and slice cukes thinly.
Combine cukes, peppers, onion and salt and let stand three hours.
Drain and wash in cold water.
Combine vinegar, sugar and spices. Heat until boiling.
Pour over cukes and continue to heat until simmering.
Pack into pint jars and seal.
