1 clove garlic
¾ cup salad oil
2 cups croutons
2 eggs
3 T. lemon juice
¼ tsp. pepper
½ tsp. salt
8 anchovy filets
2 heads romaine lettuce
¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
¼ cup parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and chill lettuce. Then tear into pieces. Crush the garlic in a bowl and cover it with the oil. Combine lemon juice, worcestershire, salt, pepper and anchovies. Mis. Drain oil from garlic and pour on lettuce. Break the raw eggs over the lettuce. Then add everything else and toss.

Leave out the raw eggs if not comfortable eating them.

This is the kind of salad that is nice to make at the table. All ingredients should be put in separate dishes by the serving bowl and ready to toss into the salad, one at a time. Caesar salads are a little different today, but this one is TOP NOTCH, if you have the patience to gather and combine all the ingredients.
