Two pounds of fresh green beans, trimmed
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
One glove garlic
One bunch fresh dill
Two and ½ cups water

¼ cup pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pack pint jars to ¼ inch from top with beans.
Add cayenne pepper, garlic, dill to each jar.
Combine water, vinegar and salt and bring to boiling.
Pour over beans (I like to warm packed jars in oven a bit at 200º, for 10 minutes).
While vinegar solution heats, adjust lids and seal. (optional if you want to water bath jars 10 minutes).
Don't use for two weeks, so that flavors can blend and pickle together.
