Ingredients:  
Medium sized cukes, washed and sliced into 1 to 1 1/2" chunks
Four sterilized quart jars
Three to four onion slices per jar
Two pieces celery per jar
Two to three heads of dill per jar

Syrup: Four cups sugar, ½ cup pickling salt
One quart cider vinegar
Two cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat syrup ingredients to boiling.
pour boiling hot over cukes in jars to ¾ inch from top of jar and seal.
Store in cool, dark place for two to three weeks before eating.
