½ cup sugar
One tablespoon flour
Two and ½ tablespoons cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
Two and ¼ cups milk
Two large egg yolks, beaten
One teaspoon vanilla
One cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in saucepan and stir in milk.
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly (scorches easily).Bring to boil and stirring constantly, about one minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir in a little hot filling into egg yolks.
Mix until smooth, then add it to rest.
Stir in vanilla and sour cream.
Pour into 9 inch baked crust.
Cover with foil and cool.
Garnish with fresh peaches or other fruits.
Alternative: one and ½ cups raisins, steamed plump in a little water.
