Use Tart Apples

Directions:
Directions:
Peel Apples, peel thin.
Put peeling in boiler barely covered with water.
Cook until done-strain out juice.

(1 cup juice to 1 cup sugar)

Boil until thick-a drop in water holds together-or put some in saucer to cool. Also hold spoon up-let drip-see if two drops run together.
 

For Sauce

Cook Apples until done-sweeten-put in hot jars and seal.

Put small amount of water on apples and cook slow to start. Water bath for 15-20 minutes.
