⅓ cup olive oil
1 small onion
½ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
little fresh basil (chopped)
4 cloves garlic chopped
2 large cans whole San Marzano tomatoes (will need to be squeezed and pulled apart)
1 lb pasta (Rigatoni or Pene work well, can us linguini)
Salt

Grate onion on largest hole of 4 sided grater. Put oil in a pan and on high heat. Cook onion for about 3 minutes, add garlic, cook 3 minutes. Add parsley and basil, cook for 3 minutes. Add squeezed tomatoes to pan and cook 10 minutes, add salt. Cook pasta and drain, add sauce.

If too dry, add the juice from the squeezed tomatoes and add little more olive oil.

Can add seafood, best with crab, shrimp, and lobster

Growing up Italian we celebrated the feast of the 7 fishes. This was made every Christmas Eve in our family. We always added fresh crab meat, shrimp and freshly cooked lobster meat.
