3 c. cut broccoli
⅓ c. chopped onion
c. butter
c. flour
tsp. salt
⅛ tsp pepper
2 c. milk
1 10 oz can chicken broth
1 c. cubed american cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Add onion to broccoli and cook according to directions of the package of broccoli. Drain. In a medium sauce pan melt butter, stir in flour, salt, and pepper until well blended.

Add milk gradually. Cook until thick, stirring. Add broccoli, chicken broth and cheese. Cook until cheese melts.
