1 c. butter
¾ c. packed brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
¼ c. light corn syrup
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
1 package of hershey chips or bits

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add corn syrup, egg, and vanilla, beat well. Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture, beating wel. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop well rounded spoonfuls of batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake cookies 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly.

Remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack to cool completely.
