Chuck Pot Roast 3 to 4 pounds, the bigger they better :)

3 to 4 whole bay leave
1 large or 2 medium onions (depending on how much you would like) cut in slices then in half
2-3 tbsp. kitchen bouquet browning spice/sauce. Enough to make water a nice dark brown color
2-3 tbsp margarine, enough to cover bottom of roasting pan
1 bag carrots pealed if you would like or cant wash cook with skin, cut in half depending on how big they are
5 med red potatoes washed leave skin on, cut in half length wise

In roasting pan on stove top brown meat. Add and melt margarine in pan then add roast brown both sides and edges.
Add approx. 1/2 to 1 cup water and kitchen bouquet. Cut up 1 large onion into slices then cut slices in half. Add to top of roast. Add 3/4 bay leave. Cover then cook in 350 degree oven for approx. 2/3 hours till meat is tender. check every hour add water as needed, to provide water 1/2 way up
