Ingredients:
Thick sliced bacon
Dark brown sugar
Black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Do not preheat oven. Line jelly roll pan (baking sheet with edges) with non-stick aluminum foil. Lay bacon slices in pan. Sprinkle liberally with black pepper (can use a little red pepper if you like it hot). Then sprinkle brown sugar over bacon. After making several times, you can decide how much or how little you like the sugar. At this time I place in oven and turn on to 350º - 400º depending on how fast I want it to cook. It doesn't seem to splatter as much if you use lower temp but will take longer. Bake for about 20-25 minutes - you will need to check. However, it will look very dark brown almost burned looking. Remove and let cool for a few minutes - be careful to not put on paper towels as it will stick. I usually prop my pan up on one end to let oil drain.
