10 lb. rump or shoulder clod roast

1 head of garlic, peeled and sliced thin

1 onion, quartered and sliced

6 stalks celery, peeled and sliced thin

2 bunches green onions, sliced thin

5 whole bay leaves

Salt & pepper to taste

1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

2 tsp. cumin

1/8 cup of whole allspice

1 qt. stewed tomatoes

Famiglia Cribari Mello white table wine

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut roast in small pieces, serving size, put in large roaster.

2. Add all other ingredients.

3. Cover with wine.

4. Roast, covered, at 350 deg. until tender.

5. Use for dinner that night and next day make Sopas.

Spices as above.

Cinnamon about 1 tsp.

2 heads of cabbage, washed and quartered.

1 loaf Puente French Bread.

Handful of fresh mint, tied.

Directions:
Directions:
1. To roaster, add water to make enough juice to cook cabbage.

2. Add little more of spices used in roast.

3. Add cinnamon.

4. Simmer on low heat for 30 min.

5. Add cabbage, cook until tender.

6. In lge. bowl or another roaster, , put slices of French bread.

7. Pour all of cabbage and juice on bread.

8. Cover and let set for at least 20 min.
