Personal Notes:
Anna Beckmann Pietan was the mother of Rollo Frank Pietan. I remember her as always having white hair and tallish. She married William Pietan in 1908. They farmed in Chickasaw county, Iowa. They moved into town and lived in a white two story house on Hale Street. Grandma Pietan made these cookies and stored them in a tin on her front porch.
