1 cup soft butter
½ cup sifted confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ¼ cups Wondra flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla together thoroughly. Blend flour (always use Wondra – I believe the secret to any good cookie dough is with the flour) & salt into mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough an hour or so or even overnight. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 mins. While teacakes are still warm, roll in sifted confectioners’ sugar. Cool. Roll again in sifted confectioners’ sugar. Store in tin canister.
