1 cup butter
½ cup sifted confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ¼ cups Gold Medal Wondra flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Stir flour and salt together. Blend 1/3 of the flour into butter mixture. With hands, work in remaining flour and nuts in two parts until dough holds together. Form dough in 1” balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 mins. or until set but not brown. While warm, roll in confectioners’ sugar. Cool; roll in sugar again. Makes about 4 dozen – 1” cookies.
