2 lbs ground Beef
1 lb of bulk Italian Pork or Ground Pork
1 large Onion chopped
3 Celery Ribs chopped
4 cloves Garlic minced
3 - 28 oz Cans of Crushed Tomatoes in Puree
3 - 6 oz cans of Tomato Pasta
3 C of Beef Broth
1 lb or 16 oz of Mushrooms
3/4 C minced Fresh Parsley
1 T sugar
3 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté mushrooms in olive oil and the put in them a large stock pot. In cast iron pan or Dutch Oven cook meat half at a time until well browned. Drain and add to mushrooms.

In same cast iron or Dutch Oven sauté celery, garlic, onion. Add to stock pot along with remaining ingredients. Cook covered 2-3 hours stirring occasionally.

This makes a large batch of hearty pasta sauce so you can freeze some for future meals. Best on Penne or strong noodles.
