2 (lg) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
2 (lg) Granny Smith apples, cored and peeled
1 (4 oz.) stick butter
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. Cinnamon
6 oz. can lemon-lime soda, Mountain Dew soda of your choice.

Directions:

Spray 9 x 13 pan.
Slice apples into 8 wedges.
Place apple slice on wide end of triangle and roll.
Tuck ends around the apple slice and place in baking dish or pan.
Place butter in microwave dish and melt 1 min.
Stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon and spread over dumplings.
Pour soda around edges of the pan.
Bake @350º 35-40 min. or brown on top.
Serve warm, with ice cream is great!
