Pecan Pie Recipe

3 Eggs
1 c. Light or dark corn syrup
2/3 c. Sugar
1/3 c. Melted butter
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 c. Pecan halves
1 9" Unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla. (If using light corn syrup, I add a splash of molasses, too.) Add pecans. pour into unbaked pie shell and back at 350 for 50 minutes.

This recipe was given to me by Lori Lingenfelter Perkins for my bridal shower in 1989. I increased the amount of pecans, and added the vanilla.
