Ingredients:
1 cup raw unsalted peanuts
1 cup sugar
˝ cup white Karo Syrup
Salt
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Depending on the microwave, you may have to tweak the time by a few seconds either way
Use a 4 cup glass Pyrex measuring cup - “bowl”
Place 1 heaping cup of raw unsalted peanuts in the bowl.
Add 1 cup of sugar, ˝ cup white Karo syrup and a dash of salt
Stir with a fork or spoon (I use fork because it is easier to mix and scrape off) - mix thoroughly
Cover with wax paper and microwave for 3 mins. And 15 seconds.
Take out of MW and stir (be careful of rising steam!)
Place back in MW – cover with wax paper and MW another 3 mins. And 15 secs.
Take out and add 1 t. of butter and 1 t. vanilla and stir thoroughly.
Cover and MW for 1 more minute
Take out and stir in 1 t. baking soda – it will turn kind of white and bubbly
Pour onto a generously, but not overly, greased (with butter) cookie sheet (try to spread it out as thin as possible by moving pan from side to side)
Let cool completely and break into pieces
ENJOY!
